Paul Cameron

Paul Cameron has extensive experience in the sports sector in administration and governance roles. He is currently chief executive of Volleyball NZ, and was chief executive of Sport Wellington for fifteen years.

Paul has been a trustee of the Halberg Foundation since 2000, and was on their executive board for thirteen years. He was also a foundation board member of the New Zealand Academy of Sport, the forerunner to High Performance Sport New Zealand.

A former All White and coach of football and cricket to representative level, Paul continues to be an advocate of sport and physical activity for New Zealanders at all levels, including supporting the hosting by New Zealand of the World Masters Games in 2017.

Paul joined the board in 2015. He received a Lifetime Achievement award at the New Zealand Sport and Recreation Awards in 2013.
