NZ Squads & LA2028 Olympic Nomination Selectors - Canoe Slalom New Zealand

Canoe Slalom New Zealand is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced people to contribute to our athlete selection processes.

We are recruiting for two separate panels:

NZ Squad Selection Panel Supporting the annual selection of athletes to CSNZ national squads and representative teams.
LA2028 Olympic Nomination Selectors Responsible for independently applying CSNZ's approved Olympic Nomination Criteria and recommending athletes for nomination to the New Zealand Olympic Committee.

Applicants can express interest in either panel or both.

We are looking for a mix of experience across canoe slalom, high performance sport, athlete selection, governance, legal/process and structured decision-making.

For our Olympic panel, we are particularly interested in people who can bring strong independence, sound judgement and high performance selection or governance experience. You do not need to come from canoe slalom to contribute to one of the independent roles.

CSNZ is committed to selection processes that are fair, transparent, consistent and appropriately independent, with clear management of actual, potential and perceived conflicts of interest.
