Sporting grants shall be provided throughout the year on the basis that applications are made at least 12 weeks prior to the event.
The Leishman Media Racing Awareness Award
The award provides the awardee with a practical exposure to the NZ racing and breeding industries which will assist them to present our industry in an informative manner during their future media career.
Allsports Activity Fund
Activity Fund grants are provided to enable physically disabled young people to participate in sport and recreation by reducing financial barriers. The fund accepts applications made by or on behalf of individual physically disabled young people. The fund will also accept applications from schools but only for equipment.
Len Southward Adventure Award
The awards are available to any person who has a physical disability and are open to all New Zealand citizens.
While the awards must are intended primarily for individuals, small groups (such as duets, trio or quartets) will be considered eligible in applying for a common project or objective.
Ngati Koata Scholarship/Education and General Grant
The Ngati Koata Group considers applications for formal academic, health and sports grants on a case by case basis and has discretion to approve such applications or not as the Ngati Koata Group see appropriate. Where the Ngati Koata Group approves financial assistance, the following will apply:
