Decision makers

Trustees of the TSB Community Trust.

Decision time

When assessing a grant the Trust considers things like population served, membership, roll numbers, ability to access and raise other funds, community access and community contribution, and socio-economic factors.

For larger projects the Trust may ask your organisation to identify outcomes ywhich can be measured and monitored. In such cases outcomes will be agreed with your organisation prior to the grant being made - so you will need to be able to clearly state why the activity is needed, what will be achieved and how you intend to track the difference it is making in the community. For large and significant activities, support may be provided to assist

How notified

Applicants will receive confirmation of the decision via email or letter – this may take 8-12 weeks.
The grant notification letter will be sent outlining any requirements of the grant which may include conditions or restrictions on the use of the funds

How paid

Direct credit.

Conditions of acceptance

Depending on the activity funded and level of funding an Outcome or Accountability report may be required as part of the grant conditions. Refer to your grant letter for details.

Other information

All projects must comply with relevant central, regional and local government legislation, regulations and by-laws, and have any required consents.
