Network Tasman Charitable Trust Individual Grant

History of award

Network Tasman Trust holds all the shares in Network Tasman Limited on behalf of its consumers. Network Tasman Limited owns the regional electricity distribution systems covering the area from Lewis Pass in the South to Kahurangi Point in the North West and Grahams Point in the North East with the exception of that portion of Nelson City, which falls within the pre 1940 city boundaries.

Purpose

To allow grants to individuals within the following parameters:
• For representing New Zealand Overseas
• For representing Nelson overseas
• For exceptional circumstances and especially when other assistance is not available, the Trust may offer grants to individuals. Such grants are unable to be substantial and applicants should know this before applying.

Eligibility

The prime requirement is that all applicants receive their electricity through the Network Tasman Limited distribution system.
