20 more women board members wanted
Sport NZ and Appoint have launched a programme to quickly increase the number of woman on the sport and recreation boards and get us to our 40% target.
Are you:
- female?
- have some understanding of non-profits and connection or affinity with the sport and recreation sector?
- have an established executive career?
- are NOT currently a board member on one of these organisations?
Then we need you!
20 more directors are needed. We will work with 30 women to help prepare them for these roles and then actively promote to chairs of sector organisations. The successful individuals will be selected by representatives of Appoint and Sport NZ. This is a by-application programme with a small cost associated.
