Play Lead - Kia Kori Waitaha
To enhance rangatahi and tamariki engagement and wellbeing through active play. To understand and listen to junior and youth needs and create engagement opportunities that are designed and led by the participants.
Kia Kori Waitaha is a community-led charitable trust committed to improving hauora outcomes for tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and communities across Waitaha Canterbury. Through active play, recreation, community partnerships and innovative programmes, we create opportunities for people to connect, move, belong and thrive. Guided by Te Whare Tapa Whā and kaupapa Māori principles, we work alongside schools, sports organisations, community groups and whānau to remove barriers to participation and create lasting positive impact.
