Hilary Poole

Hilary has 25 years of experience in a variety of leadership and governance roles within the sport, finance, food, education, and not for profit sector in New Zealand, Australia and London.

She is currently an independent director of Just Water Ltd, Martin Jenkins Ltd, Sport New Zealand and The Clubhouse New Zealand Ltd (rights holder for the LPGA’s NZ Women’s Golf Open).  Previous appointments include Chief Executive at Netball New Zealand and Hockey New Zealand, chair of Diocesan School for Girls, chair of First Foundation, and independent director of Prolife Foods.

Hilary has been a member of the NZ Institute of Directors since 2002, and is a chartered member. In 2012, Hilary was awarded the CK Doig Award for excellence in leadership in sport, and the International Hockey Federation's (FIH) President's Award for international service to Hockey. She holds a B.Com and B. Phys Ed from Otago University.
