Are you a second or third tier leader in the sector who leads people, projects or areas of work? The Te Au Mātāhae leadership programme offers a unique chance to create deep relationships and further develop leadership skills to help strengthen the overall leadership of the sector.

Te Au Mātāhae speaks to a flow of water which is divergent and moving from a common point. It represents the need to have flexibility and encourage others to think from different perspectives whilst staying focused on a common goal.

Applications for the next cohort (September 2024) are now open until 5pm Wednesday 24 July. We’re looking for a diverse group of applicants from across the play, active recreation and sport sector with some leadership experience, ready to take it to the next level.

Te Au Mātāhae will run annually so this will not be the only opportunity to apply.
