Through our Healthy Active Learning workforce,  and our key partners Physical Education New Zealand and the Regional Sports Trusts, there is a network of ‘on the ground’ support in local communities to assist schools and students.

We believe when we collaborate, our tamariki and rangatahi get better outcomes.

Healthy Active Learning

Healthy Active Learning is a joint government initiative between Sport NZ, Ministry of Health,Te Whatu Ora | Health New Zealand, and the Ministry of Education to improve the wellbeing of tamariki and rangatahi through healthy eating and drinking and quality physical activity.

The initiative supports schools and kura to create healthy and active learning environments, and better connections to their local communities.
