Kia Toipoto - Pay gaps action plan 2024–26

The Sport NZ Group has launched its second pay gaps action plan under Kia Toipoto. The plan has been developed to align with our group values, and commitment to the Public Service Pay Gap Action Plan, Kia Toipoto. Its focus is to address the drivers of gender, Māori, Pacific and ethnic pay gaps.

Kia Toipoto — Public Service Pay Gaps Action Plan 2021–24

The plan includes an analysis of our current gender and ethnic pay gaps. It outlines what has been achieved to date to address these based on the last action plan and our intended actions for 2024-2026 based on our group strategy. It includes initiatives to help diversify our workforce, build our cultural competency, address any bias and discrimination, and help our people to develop their careers.

At the Sport NZ Group, we believe in the power of inclusion and diversity, and we’re committed to building an inclusive culture where everyone feels they belong. As part of our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, we want to identify and address any barriers that impact our people because of their gender or ethnicity. Kia Toipoto is essential to this mahi.
