Marketing and Communications

Language

Language is simple, concise and inclusive, avoiding jargon and acronyms.

Images

The images I’ve used have alternative text. There is strong contrast between the colour of any text used over a background image so that it can be easily read.

Forms and surveys

The forms I’ve created are simple, clearly labelled, and provide instructions as needed.

Representative content

My content represents diverse groups of people within Aotearoa.

Videos

My videos have captions/subtitles and these have been checked for accuracy.

Different Formats

I’ve used the most appropriate format for my audience and message and provided alternative formats.

Mobile Accessibility

The mobile experience for online content is user friendly and can be operated with one hand.
