Mana Taiohi youth development training sessions

Mana Taiohi youth development training sessions

30 October 2024

As part of an ongoing commitment to embedding Mana Taiohi (principles for positive youth development) into our work with and for rangatahi, Sport NZ has partnered with Ara Taiohi, Nuku Ora, Sport Northland, Sport Hawke’s Bay and Sport Canterbury to deliver four free full-day trainings across the motu.

This learning and development opportunity is tailored for outdoor instructors, recreation professionals, sports coaches and administrators, sport and recreation volunteers and kaiako – anyone who is passionate about the role of physical activity to support young people.

The morning session will focus on introducing the eight interwoven principles that make up Mana Taiohi; and the afternoon session will be an opportunity to plan how you might bring those principles to life when working with or for rangatahi.
