Webinar: Learn about He Oranga Poutama (with live Q & A)

Are you passionate about growing Māori participation active recreation, sport and play? Are you keen to explore innovative kaupapa Māori approaches that support positive outcomes for iwi, hapū, whānau and Māori communities through physical activity? 

Sport NZ Ihi Aotearoa are extending the He Oranga Poutama programme into the Manawatū. Applications are now open from 14 February 2023 for suitable providers. 

To support potential applicants, Sport NZ Ihi Aotearoa is hosting an information webinar on Thursday 16 February 2023, 1.30pm to 3pm. Come along and hear from Wiremu Mato He Oranga Poutama Lead at Sport NZ Ihi Aotearoa as he shares information about He Oranga Poutama, how it works, Te Whetū Rehua and the He Oranga Poutama outcomes. There will be an opportunity for Q & A with our team at the end of the webinar.  

The webinar will be hosted by Wiremu Mato He Oranga Poutama Lead who is also a former Kaiwhakahaere at Sport Waitākere, delivering He Oranga Poutama in the greater Auckland region.
