Applications open for Te Au Mātāhae leadership programme

Applications are now open for Te Au Mātāhae Cohort 5, Sport NZ’s leadership programme for the play, active recreation and sport sector.

Te Au Mātāhae refers to water flowing from a shared source in different directions. It reflects the value of bringing different perspectives while staying connected to a common purpose. 

The programme is for people leading teams, projects or areas of work, and for those ready to step into leadership roles. It focuses on how leaders show up day to day by working through challenges, making decisions and learning from others. 

Participants come together from across Aotearoa and bring different experiences and perspectives. Through the cohort, you build strong relationships and gain insight into how others lead in different organisations and communities. 

By the end of the programme, the aim is for you to come out better equipped to lead in your own organisations and help strengthen leadership across the sector. 

We are looking for applications from a diverse range of leaders. If you’re ready to step into your next leadership challenge, we encourage you to apply.
