Evaluation
Through ongoing monitoring and learning, evaluation of Active As helps us to:
- understand how the initiative is progressing toward its 3 aims
- assess the impact and value of Active As for schools and wharekura
- support continuous improvement over the course of the initiative.
Our latest evaluation shows Active As is helping ākonga be more active during the school day – especially those who were previously less active. It also shows positive changes in wellbeing, learning and attendance.
