Women in sport governance scholarships and mentor programme

Sport New Zealand has announced the fourth annual round of support for women leaders in sport governance.

Eight scholarships have been awarded to undertake training in governance. Eight women will be mentored across 2016 to support their current roles on sector boards. Recognising the strength in emerging leaders evident in the applications the panel decided to create a new category of support offering general career and leadership development guidance. Nine women will be in this part of the programme for 2016.
