Te Kori Scott Point (sport park)
Te Kori Scott Point is New Zealand’s first fully sustainable sport park, designed to serve an Auckland community of around 20,000 new residents.
The park supports a wide range of activities, including organised sport, active and informal recreation, and ecological restoration and conservation.
This case study highlights the value of designing spaces and places that are closely connected to their local environment. It shows how nature‑based solutions can be used to reduce environmental impact while also lowering long‑term operating costs.
