What motivates me in my role is kind of just seeing the impact of change that we have in our teachers and communities. It’s really awesome going down to the schools and working with the teachers and going into their classroom environment and seeing how the kids are interacting with each other and the enjoyment that they get during their lessons. So yeah I really enjoy that about my role.

I think my first fond memory of being active was when I was growing up, you know there was a lot of us in the community because my dad worked in the army and so, we kind of had this abandoned 12-foot boat in our community and so all the kids would kind of go there, we'd run around we'd pretend that we you know we're in the navy and sailing and ships and, yeah I think just that and being active pretty much the whole day and night, and then we go home for dinner and that kind of stuff was probably a fond memory of mine, yeah.
