The Rautaki Māori Team has a several roles within Ihi Aotearoa:
- Building organisation Māori Cultural Capability
- Providing a Māori perspective to initiatives and programmes within Sport NZ
- Developing cultural distinctive pathways that are for, by & with Māori
- Co-designing the play, active recreation and sport system so that it reflects our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the Principles of Partnership, Protection and Participation
